Pine Hills Lightning Baseball Club is proud to announce the appointment of Tim Harradine as the club’s coaching director for the up coming 2019/20 season and beyond.
Tim enters his second season with Pine Hills. This is very much a return to the game after a career and family focus over the past four years.
Prior to moving to Brisbane, Tim grew up playing baseball on Sydney’s Northern Beaches with the Manly club. After finishing high school, Tim spent 13 years in the US attending university playing at Wallace State in Hanceville, Alabama for the hall of fame coach Randy Putman. Tim then went to the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
After completing his Master’s, Tim coached at Whitfield County High School in Georgia, was the Head Baseball Coach at West Point High School in Alabama, and Head Coach at Lemon Bay High School in Florida. Tim also spent short stints coaching back at his alma-maters Wallace State and UAB.
After returning to Australia, Tim has coached the Manly first grade team in the Sydney State League and led the U14 NSW team to a National Championship.
Tim’s professional life has seen him as the CEO for baseball NSW and the Blue Sox, and he is currently the Executive Director for Triathlon Queensland.
His role will involve managing, coordinating and overseeing the delivery of development strategies within Pine Hills Lighting Baseball Club’s player and coach pathway.
We are happy to have Tim on board and hope everyone welcomes him to our club.
