I have been involved with Pine Hills for over 25 years from under 8’s to Division 1. I have seen the club develop over this time first hand from passionate members which has lead to some great achievements including two new fields and entering into the Division 1,2,3 competition to create a pathway for our juniors. I am passionate about the success of the club and its players which is why I’d like to now invest my time on the committee as Vice President. Over the past 27 years on the field I have been involved in the following teams both playing and coaching. Junior Pine Hills player from U8 ‘s to division 1 playing over 200 Division 1 games Representative player for Brisbane Metro, Queensland and the Australia Academy Pine Hills division 1 coach 2017 – 2019 Pine Hills U20 coach 2019-2021 Brisbane Metro Coach 2017-2022 Futures League coach 2021 Off the field I have been an active sponsor of Pine Hills for 5 years while also donating time and resources through my electrical business to support the club. Having built and operated an electrical business with 25 employees, I have acquired a lot of relevant skills that are transferrable into operating a club. I also employe 4 Pine Hills players and have given work experience to 3 others over the last 5 years. Since stepping away from playing 5 years ago I have been extremely passionate about Pine Hills juniors and ensuring they get the opportunities to move into our senior teams and beyond. Seeing Pine Hills junior members come up through the club to play senior baseball, coach a junior team, become an umpire or help in the many other ways around the club is the most rewarding thing for me. Junior development and pathways is a very important area for me. I am looking forward to helping Pine Hills from a committee member point of view to ensure the club continues to grow and always has the opportunities there for its members to maintain Pine Hills as one of the strongest clubs in Brisbane.
